Season 2 confirmed!!

I'm from Brazil, it was hard to get my Playdate, it was more expensive with taxes than normal, but I'm loving it, a unique and different console, I like to buy the games available in the online store, thank you for accepting my Brazilian card aha. And thank you very much for a season 2 of games.

Truly wish y'all would do a redesign with a backlight and a battery that doesn't die after 6 months, played this system every damn day for 6 months and now it's been 6 months since it's worked, battery just stopped charging one day.

I am so hyped!

I love my Playdate but my crank handle fell apart and it doesn't look like there's any official way to get a replacement. Kind of makes the whole device useless. I contacted Panic but they never responded.

I had a Playdate during the first shipment. I’m truly amazed at how far the game library has come. I think that the Playdate has aged incredibly with time and can’t wait to see what’s in store for season 2!

When will the bluetooth dock be released? I'm in Europe so don't want to purchase and pay the extortionate shipping until I can get both the unit and dock at the same time. It's been marked as 'coming soon' for over a year... :(

I love it. I just wish I could see the screen. Bummer. I REALLY want to enjoy this ecosystem. It looks incredible! Still hoping for Playdate II.

Season 2!!!!!

Buying one of these is one my bigger disappointments and regrets, none of the games are worth more than a few minutes of your time, and there are almost no standout games… I’ve had one for about 8 months or so and some of the buttons don’t always work when I press them, and I’ve tried and bought about 12 different games plus side loading games and the season one games and only found about 2 I like, was really disappointed that pretty much every game is a minute gimmick, or an obscure puzzle game. The only true positive I can say is that it is very user friendly and the design is really nice

Playdate really does look like it has some fun games, but I can't get past the non-lit screen. A revision with with a backlight and a micro SD card slot would make me snap one up instantly. Or heck, an OLED black and white screen would be amazing.

I love your updates (I really do), but can you please, please include the playdate game links in the description for each of the featured games so we don't have to hunt around for them?
