With some of the comments here it is a shame that as smart as we are as people, foresight are lacking with some people. Government is about sourcing opportunity for your people. What Tinubu saw is an opportunity to have access to those massive French businesses that might be leaving the Sahel countries due to on going problem, to set up shop in Nigeria, thereby creating employment opportunities for our people. Only by exploring every opportunity can Nigeria experience accelerated development.

We do not need France and Europe as Investors. We need ourselves. If Dangote can build a refinery from planing to implementation that means we have sharp investors in Nigeria if they can decolonise their mind and act appropriately.

Also, we need government that can decolonise themselves and stop being corrupt and acting as pauppets.

Nigeria is big enough as a country and in terms of the volume of trade being generated in the country. As a result Nigeria have the capacity to create a reserve bank with development element that can finance development accross West Africa and Africa as a whole with Niara as reseve currency.

The Naira can then be used to interface with the rest of the world. Working with Brics will make thing work better but we do not need US Dollar.

Also we need sharp minded but patriotic indigenous investors like Mr Dangote, Mr Onyeama, Mike Adenuga etc to up the production. Also, the support of the technocrat like Dr Orama of Afriximbank and the likes are what we need back up with strong military.

We need strong military because the imperialist would threaten us with violence when they can not stop us from self-relian economic and political development.
