"softwareupdate --list-full-installers" does not list 26.0, even though dev beta is enabled in the GUI and I could download there (but I need the installer to target an external drive for Tahoe). Why would v26.0 be missing in the CLI if available in the GUI?

Note: I can't download any installer (even to install production MacOS on the external and then try to update when booted from that drive). If I try "softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer", the result is an error "Install failed with error: Update not found"

I already have the beta option set but when the update appears, it comes out that it is already updated to the latest version 15.5, why does that happen?

NO thanks! The amount of government tracking software baked in now makes this new OS absolute dogshit. And now the phones has Starlink baked in.
