We are restricting our heating on would be far too expensive to have it on 12 hours a day , we are A moderately well off household , we live in the south so we haven’t got a really severe cold Weather

Yet still so many mugs support the “climate change “ propaganda . Time was, these fools were talking about “global warming”, but once it was realised that in fact the planet was not ‘warming, they changed the title to “climate change” - which of course can mean anything.....

Do you know why because, they can change what they like and the government gets taxes called VAT on every bill and the watchdog who overseeing utilities have had a hard year with bailouts of utility companies that have gone now so called free market . So they let or taken there eyes off the prize . Look natural gas prices has been stuck in the market last January they said a price rise of 50% in April and then the prices on the market started to rise 3 pence or 3.4 us cents to 9.78 in April for that April rise funny that they are very good guessers at gas prices. Then the same for October gas price rise of 80% bang on with that one too and both well almost fallen back to the prices of 3 pence or 3.4 cents back in may it's now 4.36 cent 1st January almost back . All prices go up and down the thing is these prices need to be checked for a fraud on miss marketing bogus price hikes and a month later back to their original marketed price allegedly .
Love mum

in Britain we have thousands of years of energy beneath our feet and surrounding our coastlines which would make us self sufficient and even be an exporter of energy which would be wonderful for our GDP, reduce our tax and energy bills so the politicians do nothing except import gas, oil and coal at great cost and scare any investors away with windfall taxes - but politicians then claim their heating and energy costs on expenses. One day their will be reports of millions of ev owners who can't charge their vehicles because their isn't any electricity supply - can't wait for the result of all this stuipidity.................

If the Conservative Party were your refrigerator, all your food would go bad. If it were your car or bicycle, you would be stranded by the side of the road. If it were your accountant, you would be bankrupt. If it were your lawyer, you would be in prison. If any consumer good, service or profession so consistently and predictably disappointed or failed in its ostensible main purpose, people would turn their backs on it. It would be overtaken, replaced and driven out of business by a better competitor. - Peter Hitchens (The Cameron Delusion)

This desperate charge towards net zero in the UK is going to destroy our culture and way of life. No farming for food, no driving to get to work and go shopping, keeping the economy going. No fossil fuels to keep up warm and powered. All so we can get to next zero in the UK which would be 1% of global emissions which won't make a blind bit of difference to the world anyway. Pointless madness to destroy our country. All the while the authorities push forward more and more destruction of the natural world with endless high density housing estates concreting over the natural world. Which goes to show this isn't about saving the planet. It's about money for the rich.

We're paying about £350 per month for Gas and Electric despite barely using the heating as it's too expensive. Most days our smart meter surpasses £10 usage then there's standing charges of almost £1 a day on top. The 6% mortgage rate and insane food costs make the UK unaffordable on an average wage.
