Hasbro is encouraging all of us to save money by releasing these figures. It's not the most profitable business model, but it is quite nice of them to think about our finances.
Ответитьi know sentinel is way more expensive and premium but looking at the difference is just hilarious
ОтветитьThis is the kind of figure I would get at a discount like how I got Jessica Drew for cheap last year along with classic Ant-Man. There should have at least been a wash to help out the sculpted details even if it wouldn't be 1:1 to the animation textures.
ОтветитьI might just get it because it reminds me of the Psx Spiderman game design a little bit without web lines and plain as hell!😅
ОтветитьGuess I'm the only one who genuinely enjoys this figure 🤷🏻♂️
Yes, it looks super Basic. I wish the eyes had more white. I wish the lines on the suit were painted. But, that aside, I love the posing and playability. The colors really pop when displayed with other figures.
Idk why they went with the reverse ab crunch when their previous release with the sweat pants had a ballpeg at the waist and had better range than this.
ОтветитьThis product exemplifies how pathetically cheap and lazy Hasbro can be. With substandard accessories added there are still no redeeming qualities of this product I find endearing enough to even consider purchasing. It barely qualifies as a prize in some Loot Bags at an 8 year-old's birthday party. Hasbro should find another entry into the Shameless Hall of Honor with this one.
ОтветитьOooff... I can tell by the thumbnail this is gonna be brutal.
ОтветитьI got this because I love the movies and the style and figured, this should be a good Spider-Man.
I was immediately filled with regret when I saw it in package. Then it was even worse when I opened it.
I usually mod ML to make them something I’d like but this thing was so bad that I just gave it to my dogs.
They didn’t like it either.
I wish Hasbro would go back to the old ab crunch and waist swivel. Not being able to rotate at the waist is extremely annoying. The upper diaphragm joint and reverse ab crunch just makes me wish I had a waist swivel, or a double ball joint like SHF and some G.I. Joe Classified figures.
ОтветитьJust buy the KO of the Sentinel Peter B
ОтветитьAnthony, I love you, I’ve been watching you for years, but the “my package” joke is getting kinda old. It was funny the first handful of times, but I can’t help but roll my eyes whenever you say it nos
ОтветитьPeter from Spiderman into the spidy-verse has brown hair not blonde that's annoying to see
ОтветитьLooks so cheap and lame.
ОтветитьI really hope those reverse ab crunch doesn't stick and influence other toy companies (I already saw Figma dabble in it).
The only figure I have seen them work is with a Second Axe figure (do not google with kids).
I don't like the stylization in toy form. As a movie sure it's fine. But as a figure they're so strange.
ОтветитьPainted in web lines and wall crawling hands would’ve saved this figure
ОтветитьI definitely agree with you and do not like the packaging or the figure at all I wouldn't even buy it for a toy for my kids
ОтветитьWhy does this figure looks like a kids meal toy
ОтветитьSpider-Man India figure is one of the best marvel legends as of recent
ОтветитьSome people will say "omg Anthony is too negative!" when he has to review figures like this. This one's a turd and yet he's still being pretty kind to it.
ОтветитьI'm not watching a review of a $25 happy meal toy.
Have an updoot and good day sir.
QOTD: The execution may be a bit so-so, but I find what they at least attempted with this guy in terms of silhouette and proportions about 10x more interesting and appealing than the typical rubbery cosplayer ML body shape. If he had less slumpy shoulders and a brighter blue, I could definitely have considred picking him up as a Marvel vs Capcom Spidey. Hardly a great match but a lot closer than just about any other Hasbro Spider-Man imho.
ОтветитьANOTHER BAD MARVEL LEGENDS? Brother I am flabbergasted.
Ответить"Its not terrible from a distance" lol
ОтветитьI hate that stupid ab joint. What’s funny is they had a torso of this Spider-Man or at least this style of him made, which the ball joint waist. As the Peter B. Parker figure, so they literally retooled or made brand new tooling in order to make the articulation worse.
ОтветитьThis might be the worst looking legends I ever seen and that’s saying something
ОтветитьI hate the reverse ab crunch. It seems like Storm is going to use it in their new Storm Arena line. Just, why? Also, idk why they didn't just sculpt Spider-Man legs for the past versions of this figure that had a ball at the waist, but the civilian pants.
ОтветитьThis body mold is the same exact one from the Amazing Spider Man 2 with Andrew Garfield... Except for the head.
ОтветитьLooks like it should be a $10 figure. Like the World of Nintendo line.
ОтветитьThe head is basically WHAT IF? Andrew Tate put on a Spider-Man mask.
ОтветитьThey had a double ball-jointed torso version of this mold with sweatpants: all they had to do was make a new lower half for that, and they didn't...
Ответитьhow are you doing anthony?
Ответить💩
ОтветитьIm convinced that some people at hasbro is crazy
ОтветитьDollar store toy. Looks cheap as hell.
ОтветитьCrappy cheap looking figure still gets 6/10?
ОтветитьI think as part of a specific set "Into the Spiderverse" it's fine. Like how BTAS Batman is great only to that particular style.
ОтветитьLooks like a kids toy? It is a kids toy 😂 a really bad one
ОтветитьMan, I loved the Spider-verse movies, but these figures are just not great. Got the Gwen from the first movie and it was decent. Spider-Man Noir too, and it is decent.. but the rest of the line? Maybe Miles from the first movie but it is damn expensive at this point for what it is. I'm thinking to try my luck with the SHFA versions but of course, the price is too damn high for a mexican collector. I'm not losing my sleep for not having a collection, I don't mind the cheaper brands, that's where I (as everyone else) started... but if they don't hit the mark for their own standards, it becomes an actual waste of money.
ОтветитьI have Mafex and Sentinel version of this Spiderman, they both are amazing. I wanted to get whole gang but Sentinel decided to not make Peni Parker and Mafex doesn’t want to make Spider-Noir and Peni with her robot, terrible.
I avoided SHF line because they went crazy with prices for main 3 characters, that is Miles, Gwen and Miguel.
I don't mind it being stylized. But I still don't like unpainted sculpted lines. And as usual lackluster accessories.
ОтветитьNgl...with better colors I'd say this is the best comiquesque Spidey buck Legends have made, Ryv IS JUST TOO buff
ОтветитьOnly reason I’d get this is for the blonde head to throw on a scarlet spider
Ответитьit's really bad.
ОтветитьI don't understand Hasbro at all, it's like for every 5 steps they take forward, they take 20 steps back. I thought the renew your vows Spider-Man body mold was gonna be the new standard going forward or the amazing fantasy Spider-Man body mold. Both those molds are amazing and have great articulation, Hasbro really couldn't find a way to incorporate this design on one of those molds in 2024? I wish they'd give up the marvel license, they clearly don't care about marvel as much as they used to. The lack of accessories and paint make this figure an easy pass for me.
ОтветитьThese movie figures look so much worse than normal 😂
ОтветитьI know for a fact this is not the last time we're seeing this figure on your channel, looking forward to the end of the year lol
ОтветитьThanks for the review.
Ответитьcutting in joints to match a costume and having spidey do splits is just stuff Hasbro cannot and will not ever figure out. Brains are mashed potatoes. The problem with making all that money is how many drugs you can buy and it shows.
