Also unpopular opinion, maybe? As good as the "item song" setting and dance and all that was, i felt the song didnt really match the vibe of the choreography? I dont know if its the singers voice (which was perfection) or what... I liked the choreo and song separately but not together. Idk why 🤷🏻‍♀️ but agreed that it served a point and wasnt just thrown in for the f of it.

Unpopular opinion - Rajkumar Rao was really cringe and disgusting in this movie.

3 mins into the video and you became unbearable! Seriously, at least make some good jokes and try to find genuine flaws! Feels like I'm listening to 'Fufaji' who stays mad for no reason or simply the 'wanna be cool' teens who have no knowledge but Wanna be cool!

Personally I think Varun(Bhaskar's) cameo was not only unnecessary to the plot, It also kind of ruined his character. I mean he literally fells for Shraddha Kapoor refers her in most misogynistic way (setting, disrespect other's personal choices) Not to mention Vamika died recently. I mean seriously🤨🙄😡

I really want to talk about this movie & universe -

1️⃣ Stree 2 could have been worthy sequel but sadly it's 2nd half was a mess.

The frustration I had. Seeing how Stree, Shraddha's shine being stolen. The force retcon with 1st movie took away the opportunity from Shraddha being the slayer of Sarkata.

The first movie was excellent storytelling. It from the start established that Stree resented men because of their views on female. So when Vicky, a man instead of walking on same path as who wronged her , choose to love and respect for her. She stopped her abduction spree.
A fitting answer to a question that already gave all clue.
But exact opposite happens in sequel. Makers really have no idea of their own universe lore.


Now I do give some credit to Amar Kaushik for capturing the humor of Stree 1 in an unplanned sequel. But it fumbles the 2nd half badly. It was stright up copy of it's predecessor. I get it writing a script in limited time is not easy. But some rectification within the script could have made it way better.

Like not forcing the mother daughter relationship. It doesn't even do anything for larger picture. Shraddha was herself enough to carry the Stree legacy.
But no. How can a heroine be the saviour because that's only for hero!

Vicky's "pull the sword with love" makes no sense because why will Stree cut the 🗣️ with love??! 🤦 She hates what he did to her. This is nothing but ctrl+ V.
Shraddha was perfect protagonist to slay Sarkata. As it's established he hates women.

I feel robbed of seeing Shraddha in action glory. Furthermore she is reduced to toying eye candy b/w Vicky and Bhaskar.

This universe is notorious for giving short end to it's female characters despite starting with progressive movie called Stree.

The ladies only prominent role is to do item songs and vanish.


2️⃣The lore is also not well written, it get wrapped in cameos and songs.

The climax was perfect place to emphasize the trio Shraddha, Vicky, Bhaskar's importance in the universe. But due to poor planning of climax, adding the ex dax machine. It failed to give importance to any of the 3 in larger picture. Imagine all three coming up with smart plan to defeat Sarkata. Not only that be cool but enhanced their characters on what's their merit.

But we got something that diminish everything. Writing like this is critical part of world building. Not crossover/ cameos with question marks.

They brought Akshay and gave him the lota only to create the hype for next movie. Looking at the messy climax I can assure that they have no idea what they were doing.
They are in rush to create hype for next movie as opposed to tell each story.


This universe has potential to be great. But it went lazy route and stick to Stree template. Have a hero, have 2 friends, go to the helper, a mysterious love interest, then defeat the villain.


Hope Thama breaks the streak and does something fresh.

LoL it was nothing but just a ripoff of part 1 with few changes otherwise it was just part 1 with gender reverse, 1st part mein auraton ko utha rahe thae aur 2nd part mein mard🤡🤣

The only thing good in this movie was it's 2nd half bcz of it's comedy that's it and ironically the Horror elements feel more funny than it's humour 💀💀💀
