Every Fallout Game Ranked

Fallout 4 is definitely my favorite, handsdown. Not only was it the game that introduced me to the unique world of Fallout, but it redefined what my definition of exploration was for video games. There are numerous quests, plenty of unique characters/enemies, interesting post nuke sites, but ontop of that is also a great story tied to it. Don't get me wrong, New Vegas has my favorite story hands down, but Fallout 4 delivered a pretty decent plot. Sure, the dialog choices were vague and sometimes hard to get what you wanted exactly from different interactions, but each line held a unique tone for almost each different situation. The ending actually did make me tear up slightly (especially if you make your MC the good guy who help the minutemen). And don't even get me started on combat, but when you kill a death claw with a teddy bear using a jet gun, that's when you've truly experienced the combat experience of Fallout XD. Overall, all the Fallout games are fun in their own rights, but Fallout 4 just holds a special place in my heart. Still feel chills watching its official trailer to this day.

I got slow burned when playing Skyrim due to it's direction and gameplay restrictness ironically... But I already bought fnv ultimate edition years ago even before getting Skyrim SE. I failed to mod it once for optimization... So I stopped playing... Worst mistake of my life (Never got past goodsprings)

That was until a few weeks ago... If I could go back in time, I would tell my younger self to "Stop Slacking and continue with putting optimization mods for fnv using this list!". But hey I'm now coming for Benny, and ain't now sentry bots in Lonesome road will stop me from getting my riot gear in the early game!

am i literally the only human who doesnt like new vegas, like the storys cool i guess but the gameplay is absolute dogshit

Fallout 3,4 might be weak in comparison to NV, but they dont deserve a rank below fallout 1 😢😢😢

In an age of remasters I wish they'd remaster 3 and new vegas so that they run more stably on pc. Or at least re-release them on console storefronts so I don't have to dig up my ps3 to play without crashes.

Since i recently became a fallout fan, minus those bugs, I accepted the fact that I will always support the Brotherhood of steel and the NCR! That's why in new vegas I achieved piece between the two Factions. Although they are not 100% good all the time, just look at Father Elijah, both The Brotherhood and the NCR are the most civilized,technically advanced and organised Factions in the games and they want to help people through order and stability! Other Factions like the Enclave or Mr house lead to oppression and dictatorship while the Legion, Institute and Great khans/Fiends are pure anarchy! Like admiral Halsey said in the Orville Democracy is flawed but it's the best system over the others! And last but not least I know yes man is a fun character, but a random courier suddenly running new vegas isn't realistic in my eyes!

A new Vegas remake or remaster would be awesome

I wierd im enjoying fallout 76 so much.. played most of them but I gotta say that fallout 76 has the best map for me and I agree that it’s a mess I’m not gonna be saying that it’s not that would be a lie

Believe it or not, Fallout Shelter is my favourite in the series, even though I have not played all of them

I've never played any fallout games and I just got fallout 3, 4, and new vegas. I'm not sure which one to do first but I'm going to start off with fallout 3.

New Vegas with its multiple endings is why it’s my fav and if u do all the side quests the ending is long if u just do a few it’s short 😂

I dont understand why people dont factor in game play not just the story i played fallout 4 first and then played new vegas its controls just fel so bad the story is great but game play is so behind and its hard to get used to

Very reasonable opinion compared to others. For me Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas are all the best and are all masterpieces imo. Other fallout games vary from from meh(Fallout 3) to garbage(Fallout 76).

I never played fallout as a kid I bought fallout 3 when I was younger but I didn’t know how to collect bottle caps I think and I couldn’t pass a mission so I gave it back to game stop I regret that because I could’ve got into it a lot more I just bought new glove has today and I have 3 and 4 but never play them I’m gonna try to tho

I've just started playing Fallout Shelter again and it's still pretty addictive. It does fall flat very often though when you're waiting around for things to happen but still great.
It makes me want to try 76 for the first time even though everyone shits on it. I guess that was always the intention, bringing it out before a full console version 😉

Fallout and 2 better than 4?

New Vegas with FO3 in second place. FO4 is OK. 76 is a POS and I’ve never played the others.

Never played a fallout game but I’m an Elder scrolls fanboy so I’m really excited for this new adventure. I’ve only watched Joov play it, I knew what fallout was but never got to it.

If 76 had a offline/single player option, i would’ve loved to explore the open world a lot more. Other than that, I’ll be killed be online players, lag, or be kicked out for bad connection. Come on Bethesda
